A woman who escaped a forced marriage only to land her ideal job and win a luxury pad, has revealed she is set to marry the man of her dreams.

Kat Demarchelier Du Bois, 25, from Teesside, was left homeless and struggling with depression after running away from home aged 17, after her grandmother told her she was to marry a man 13 years her senior when she was just 16.

But she since then she has managed to secure her ideal job in law, win a luxury pad in Manchester worth £150,000 and is set to marry the man of her dreams, Zak Billingham, tomorrow.
